Transforming a Single-Room Flat✨
In the midst of our ongoing project, we are transforming a single-room flat, tackling clutter one area at a time. The progress has been remarkable. We’ve already discarded so much unnecessary stuff that a whole under-bed storage unit has been eliminated, freeing up valuable space. Our journey isn’t over yet; after finishing the physical declutter, we plan to move on to step 2: digital declutter.
Making Space and Giving Clothes a Second Life 👗♻️
We recently completed a successful closet declutter, turning a crowded wardrobe into a well-organized space. The process freed up a lot of storage room, allowing for a more functional and accessible closet. Many clothes were mended by a tailor, giving them a second life, while even more items were set aside for a clothing swap, to be sold, or gifted to others.
The Big Clean-Up: Less Stuff, More Happiness 🌟🍃
Corinna had a lot of things she didn’t need anymore, so she decided to clear out. With help, she got rid of half her stuff, even the things on her computer and phone she didn’t use. She didn’t just stop there; she also found ways to keep everything neat and organized. Corinna’s story shows us that getting rid of extra stuff can make us feel better and more organized.
A New Roomie and a Fresh Start 🏡✨
When Zilan moved in, the flat was full of old stuff from people who used to live there. Together, they decided to sort through everything, keep what was needed, and get rid of the rest. It wasn’t easy, but they worked as a team and made their flat a nice place to live. Now, their home feels like it really belongs to everyone who lives there.
Seven Flatmates
Tidy Up 🏠🌀
In a big flat with seven people, the shared areas and the basement were getting a bit crowded with stuff. They decided to declutter. It turned into fun times, laughing and finding missing things in random places. They cleared the shared spaces nice for everyone. It wasn’t just about cleaning; it was about making their flat a better place to live together.

With the coaching from the upside plan, I started sifting through, sorting, selling, giving away and even throwing away all of my things exactly 4 years ago. This campaign has completely changed my life to this day, opened me up to a mindful view of our endless consumption, and gave me a lot of time and ultimately money because, for example, B. I sold things and no longer have to worry about them. Lots of space that I can fill elsewhere. 👍🏻 Thank you.

With “the upside plan” I was finally able to get an overview of all my belongings. It became apparent how many of my things I no longer actually need and that I can use this storage space differently or I can save on rental costs for storage space. I also think it's great that Sara always keeps the issue of sustainability in mind. This means that things that are not needed are not simply thrown away, but rather sold or given away cheaply to people who can put them to better use. This way I also get a little money out of it.It's also great how good you feel when you've sorted your life out better and been able to shake off some of the baggage. Many thanks for your support!

Moving into a new shared flat it was great having Sara as a support going through the stuff of old flatmates. We discarded an unbelivable amount of stuff - such a relief!
